    WHAT IS ACCELERATED LEARNING?
-More has been discovered about how the human brain works in the last 15 years than in all history to date.

The Accelerated Learning Method is based on that research.

We each have a preferred learning style — a way of learning that suits us best. If you know and use the techniques that match your preferred way of learning, you learn more naturally.

Because it is more natural for you, it becomes easier.

And because it is easier, it is quicker.
Hence the name — Accelerated Learning.

By also incorporating well-researched memory techniques, Accelerated Learning makes learning an enjoyable, successful and satisfying experience.

How long will it take me to be fluent in Spanish if I already speak French and Italian?

Posted by admin on July 21st, 2010 and filed under speak french | 7 Comments »

I will NOT be going to a Spanish country but will be taking 2 classes a week of two hours. I already speak french and Italian quite well. How long will it take me? Also, I intend to watch Spanish TV as often as I can and use Spanish as often as I can on the internet.

What is a good online French language course?

Posted by admin on July 21st, 2010 and filed under french course | 1 Comment »

I am interested in brushing up on my French and I need an online course that is free or cheap and that I can do on my own time. Any recommendations? Preferably recommendations of courses you have done yourself.

As I know, this site has top listing of such college courses online – edu.2kool4u.net

Canadian Tire- Obtain Magic Bullet instruction manual if product used?

Posted by admin on July 21st, 2010 and filed under french instruction | 1 Comment »

Yesterday I bought a Magic Bullet from Canadian Tire, only to find that it did not come with a English instruction manual. Seeing that it is a holiday today, I have to wait till tomorrow to exchange it. I am really tempted by this magical creation and just have to use it. I want to know if I can still use it and somehow obtain an instruction manual. Can I just carry the French manual only and ask for one in English or do I have to carry everything back, used or unused?

    Magic is cool.

What is the best way to learn French on a budget?

Posted by admin on July 21st, 2010 and filed under learn french | 7 Comments »

I am trying to learn french for conversational and travel purposes. I’m not particularly interested in grammar and eccentricities, I merely wish to converse and participate in the joy of meeting new people through my travels and experiences. I am planning on traveling to Europe soon so if I could become fluent in 8 weeks, that would be ideal.

You cannot become fluent in french in 8 weeks, however you can learn a few sentences that will help you understand people better.
If you want someone to speak slowly, you can say:

"parler plus lentement, s’il vous plaît"
pronounced "pahle plu lenmen, si vu ple"

You could also try watching youtube videos in french, the ones that have subtitles in them, and you could preferably use the french news, since people tend to speak clearly in those. then go to the normal speaking videos. You’ll be surprised at how many words you will already know in french, since some words in english are the same. There are some really good books that come with audio CDs or mp3s and you can read along while listening to it. They’re very useful.

Try a few lessons in youtube, there are plenty of those.

Hope you have a great time in France!
